The History of Idaho Broadcasting Foundation
invites you to our next two public meetings!
Wednesday May, 20th from
7:00-9:00 Citadel Broadcasting
Located at 15th & Bannock Streets in Downtown Boise
The occasion is the 3rd Anniversary
of the Foundation
which had its first Public Meeting in May of 2006
at these same Citadel Studios!
We are also celebrating the 62nd
Birthday of KBOI-AM
which signed on the air May 1, 1947
as KDSH-AM at 950 KC!
Corporate Member Citadel Broadcasting
is our host and will provide free food
from Qdoba Mexican Grille!
Our Program will feature a 1950s KDSH newscast and a
promo for Dar Dodd’s “Pop Parade” voiced by Bill Gratton.
We’ll also hear part of a 1967 KBOI aircheck of
 “Music at Marty’s Place” with Member Marty Holtman,
and KBOI airchecks from the
1960s, 1970s, & beyond!
Following the will be an optional station tour from
8:30-9:00 P.M.
Don’t Miss it and come help us celebrate 3 Years of
growth from 1 to 60+ Members!

 Our June meeting will be a FREE LUNCHEON Wednesday June 17, 2009
from 11:30-1:30 
in the studios of new Corporate Member

KTRV President Ricky Joseph invites you

to have lunch in the Fox 12 TV studio and

see their newly installed and very

impressive News Set!

There will be a program on the

History of Channel 12,

followed by a tour of the station’s facilities.
