Art Gregory will present a 40 minute program on the early history of KFAU-AM

 

The Boise High School station which was first licensed July 18, 1922…95 years ago!

 

He’ll share never-before-revealed letters and notes from Boise High Chemistry teacher

 

Harry Redeker that tell the story of KFAU, and how he was forced out of his job

 

because of pressure put on the School Board by competitors, who apparently did not

 

like the Boise School Board’s Radio Station competing with their established media!

 

Early “Trade-out” for Coffee for the students & staff of KFAU

 

Don’t miss this interesting program that features new, never-before-heard

 

information about the early history of KFAU-AM, and why it was sold to

 

C.G. Phillips, husband of Georgia Davidson, becoming KIDO November 5, 1928.
