ONTARIO — It is still Oldies 1380, but radio station KSRV-AM in Ontario is back under the ownership of Impact Radio Group of Nampa.

The station was been under the ownership of the Armstrong Radio Group for about a year. The switch took place Saturday.

"Big Jack” Armstrong, one of the most well-known personalities in Idaho and around the Pacific Northwest, formed Armstrong Radio Group and entered an agreement to purchase KSRV-AM in 2013 from Impact. Armstrong took over the station Feb. 1, 2013, and launched the oldies format, featuring music of the late 1950s, all of the ’60s and early ’70s.

Dale Jeffries, who ran KSRV for eight years and had returned to work with Armstrong at the station, confirmed the transition Saturday and said Impact Group is keeping the oldies format.

Rick Weight is the new is the general manager, Jeffries said.
