Or, if you’d like to roll up your sleeves and be a hands-on volunteer, we also have a number of interesting volunteer opportunities — for adults of all ages.

We need help collecting radio and television broadcast history from throughout Idaho … and preserving and categorizing that history by cataloging and scanning photographs, playlists, and other printed materials, reviewing audio/videotapes, and a wide variety of other easy tasks.

So please let us know of your talents and interests … and help us save Idaho’s broadcasting history!

Donate radio/tv artifacts

Do you have any radio/TV artifacts you’d like to donate?

In the vein of collecting radio and television broadcast history from throughout Idaho, we’re also looking for donations of any and all broadcast artifacts. We’re always looking for old photographs, audio tapes, videotapes, film, radio and television programming schedules, playlists, music charts, apparel (radio stations were known for printing a lot of T-shirts), bumper stickers, old equipment, or any other broadcasting items you’d like to donate to our permanent collection — that we can then share on our website or put on display in our future Idaho Broadcasting History and Media Education Center in Nampa.

If you have broadcast memorabilia of interest you’d like to donate, please contact History of Idaho Broadcasting Foundation President Art Gregory at either hibf@q.com or by calling him at (208) 853-7756.
